Admissions
Admissions to Dean Valley for children starting primary school for the very first time are managed centrally by the Cheshire East Council Schools Admissions team. Their website is a good source of information, including guidance about the Admissions process, key dates and contact details. If you live in England you must apply on your 'home' local authority's application form (i.e the authority where you live) even if you are applying for a school in another local authority. Other applicants can apply direct to Cheshire East for a Cheshire East school.
Please click here to go to the Cheshire East Schools Admissions website. Here you can view details of application, how to apply, selection criteria and further admission arrangements.
Please click here to view the local authority co-ordinated admissions scheme and local authority admissions arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for admissions from September 2023.
Applications for school places ‘in year’ are for admission after the first day of the school year into any year group (but this does not include applications being made for admission to the new reception class for September admission). You will need to complete Cheshire East Council's In Year Application form, which will be forwarded to your schools of choice. Our pupil admission number (PAN) is 30 children.
Dean Valley offers personal guided tours conducted by the Headteacher, enabling you to ask questions directly and see the school 'in action'. We would love to show you around - please make an appointment by either email or telephone.
Please also see our prospectus page under the tab 'Our School', which provides further information about Dean Valley.
